UHF Handset
A quality Handset designed to work in conjunction with the radios enclosed in our helmets. A verbal channel number indicator lets you know which student, or group of students, you are talking to at any time and you can switch channels easily. It features 16 channels with CTCSS/DCS and channel annunciation, 0.5 watt to 4 watt power output, up to 3km working distance, low battery alarm, panic alert siren and is supplied with rechargable Li-ion battery pack and desktop charger. Operates on licence free UHF frequencies for use in Europe, USA/Canada and Australia - frequency range 420Mhz - 512Mhz. It can be operated elsewhere in the World with potential local licence requirements. As this radio is not waterproof we recommend the use of a Paqua waterproof bag in wet or potentially wet conditions.
